DropDex TCG ("DropDex," "we," "our," or "us") is a stock-alert and in-store finder app for Pokémon Trading Card Game products. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
By using DropDex, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique Apple User ID and, if you choose to share it, your email address. We do not receive your full name unless you explicitly provide it.
Location information (ZIP code). You may optionally enter your home ZIP code to enable our Nearby Stores feature. We store this ZIP code on our servers to identify Walmart store locations within your requested radius. We do not collect GPS coordinates, precise location, or any location data beyond the ZIP code you type.
Device token. If you grant notification permission, we receive your Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) device token to deliver stock alerts. This token is stored securely and used only to send you notifications you have requested.
Usage data. We collect basic app usage signals (e.g., products added to watchlist, regions selected) to operate and improve the service. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.
Payment information. Subscription purchases are processed entirely through Apple's in-app purchase system and RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
DropDex participates in affiliate marketing programs including the Walmart Affiliate Program, Target Affiliate Program, Amazon Associates, and others. When you tap a "Buy Now" link, we may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence which products or stock alerts appear in the app.
DropDex uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Stock snapshots and feed data are retained for a rolling 30-day window. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
DropDex is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us personal information, we will delete it promptly.
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including HTTPS for all data in transit, hashed tokens, and access controls on our backend infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
